As a professional dancer and former Radio City Rockette, Katie Forss knows a thing or two about timing. So when a friend (and future groomsman) introduced the Canada native to her now husband, Nick Costanza, she recognized instantly that the timing was right. “The first time we met, we had so many mutual connections,” she says. “We both thought it was crazy our paths didn’t cross sooner.” Three years later, Nick and Katie were engaged, and a little over a year after that, they were celebrating their vows at an intimate black-tie affair at The Adolphus. Planner Cindy Thurk describes the wedding as a one-of-a-kind event, filled with friends and family sharing in the newlyweds’ happiness. “You could feel the love in the room,” she says.

Katie’s bridal gown, which featured an exquisite basque waist, echoed the dress her mother wore on her big day. “My dress is an ode to [my mom], my best friend!” Katie says.

Katie’s bridesmaids donned floor-length gowns for the ceremony before slipping into shorter dresses for the reception, allowing them to dance the night away with ease. “I have the very best memory with my bridesmaids doing a kickline on stage,” Katie says. “Very fun and a throwback to our dancer roots!”
