Boxed Bites and Other Essentials For the Perfect Picnic Date

Spring has sprung, and it’s officially picnic season! Take your sweetheart on an aesthetic day date with these picnicking picks. Plus, an inside look into Boxed Bites, a Dallas-based charcuterie box company—the perfect addition to any garden party.

Tell us a bit about Boxed Bites and how it came to be.
Boxed Bites was accidentally created in July of 2020. I created beautiful cheese and charcuterie boxes to drop off to friends as a little pick-me-up. They loved them, posted on social media, and they were a hit! Boxed Bites was designed to elevate the experiential element of delivery through boxed delicacies for all the occasions. Initially, we focused on cheese and charcuterie boxes specifically. However, we now have expanded our offerings to include caviar boxes, breakfast boxes, dessert boxes, and large party grazing tables.–Paige Muller, Founder of Boxed Bites
Why would Boxed Bites be perfect for a picnic date?
Boxed Bites are perfect for a picnic as everything is already ready for you! We carefully curate a variety of cheeses, meats, mixed nuts, crackers, and locally baked bread. All the items inside the box are cut, folded, and ready to be enjoyed. There’s no need for plates or silverware, making our boxes ideal for picnics. Each box is tied with natural twine, dried lavender, and an adorable honey wand—an elevated box that is sure to impress your date!–P.M.
Which box would you suggest ordering for a picnic?
For a date, I would absolutely recommend our me + 1 box, which is specifically designed for two to enjoy. You don’t have to worry about having too much or not enough food.–P.M.
Do you offer vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free, nut-free, etc. options?
Definitely! Each box is handmade and custom to order. We are able to modify to accommodate most allergies.–P.M.
