Wedding Venues
Melissa Singsing and Chris Factoriza didn’t get along when they first met in the sixth grade. “We were both little nerds just trying to do well in school, and I kind of gave him a run for his money for the first time in his life,” Melissa laughs. But by the end of seventh grade, they were dating, and in 2022, Chris popped the question over dinner with family. On August 12, 2023, the book-loving couple celebrated with a Bridgerton-inspired wedding at the Nasher Sculpture Center, complete with dramatic florals and Regency-era paper silhouettes. The best part? Welcoming childhood friends from their hometown of Brownsville, Texas, plus family all the way from the Philippines.

The Next Step
“Because we’ve been together for so long, I feel like our relationship has gone through so many incredible stages, and we’ve grown so much together,” says Melissa.

Table Talk
A long table down the center created an intimate garden-party vibe between family and friends, many of whom traveled from around the world to attend the celebration.
