From the Ground Up: "Since the wedding was held on a private estate, we had the freedom—and challenge!—of designing every element from the ground up," says Brittney. "That included sourcing a beautiful sailcloth tent, curating rentals, and bringing in everything from restrooms to lighting, ensuring each piece felt cohesive and intentional."

Pink Ladies: The bridesmaids each wore a dress of their choosing in various shades of blush. "I just really wanted my girls to feel their very best!" Donna says. "I wanted different textures and patterns that matched our flowers and overall colors, and they al worked together so cohesively."

Love Letters: An invitation suite by Dallas-based Scribbles and Swirls set the tone for the event, with fleurs-de-lis and dreamy hues. “We are hopeless romantics at heart, and the vision I had for our wedding fully reflects that,” Donna says.

A New Life: “[Linda Whitten of] Wedfully Yours took my vision of ‘whimsical spring in the fall’ and delivered absolutely perfectly,” Donna says of the florals. “She was even sweet enough to arrange them in a way to where we could donate to local hospitals and funeral homes afterwards.”

Cool and Casual: A lush table setting matched the equally lavish Louisiana-inspired dinner, catered by Baton Rouge–based Bacon and Fig Events. “We focused heavily on textures—mixing soft, flowing fabrics with organic floral installations, thoughtful lighting, and both deep and warm tones that complemented the natural beauty of the property and the season,” Brittney says.

All tThat Glitters: For their sparkler-filled send-off, Donna changed into a beaded Clio Peppiatt minidress and traded her Gucci reception heels for custom Golden Goose sneakers, a gift from Peter.

An Eye for Detail: These decorated eggs are one of several symbolic elements the couple included from the Sofreh Aghd, a Persian wedding tradition that dates back thousands of years. “I wanted to incorporate some special parts of my culture into our day,” Donna says. “The eggs, in particular, symbolize fertility and new beginnings together.”
