Is it helpful to have a wedding planner if the venue already has a coordinator?

The answer is Yes! This is one of the most important and memorable days you will experience, which means there are many details that need to be handled. The venue coordinator’s focus is to make sure the room is set properly, the staff is in appropriate uniform, the food has been prepared to perfection, and everything is running on time. The venue coordinator is not able to help assist your guests find their tables if they are trying to locate the wedding party and get them lined up for your entrance!

A planner, on the other hand, is focused solely on you for the day. They make sure that you feel at ease, and don’t have to worry about any of the setup or cleanup for the wedding.
